Lazing 'round Grant's Pass

Here's a taste of what our leisure time in Grant's Pass was like while we house/kitty sat for Gram. Making delicious food, minding the kitties, scoping out the downtown art installments, ending with a nice, centering hike atop Onion Mountain (another notoriously winding, narrow road). Most evenings we got out for a sunset bike ride, too. The streets were overflowing with blackberries, it smelled wonderful.

Nitrate-free giant pepperoni, grilled chicken, mozzarella and swiss cheese, sauteed zucchini, eggplant, fresh tomatoes and onion from the garden.

Keeping warm with what-all I could find in the car. It had been in the 100's (F) for the first half of the week.

Rain took a bazillion pictures of the sunset/moon, and this one was her favorite.

Bonus two-for-one vending machine mishap, made the drive from  Grants Pass to Portland so much  cooler.
